Time flies oh so fast
Can’t believe a year has passed
Since I was here last time in May
To this wondrous botanic garden

Sunday 20th, I woke up on a fresh morning
The sun was shining with a smiley face
And the sparrows were chirping Happy Birthday!
Too nice to be whining in front of the PC
So I decided to treat myself a bit nicely
By setting off onto a petit journey

I packed my camera into my knapsack
Got hold of my shades and my favorite hat
Hopped on my pink bike and hit the road
To this favorite place not far from home

The trees were budding in deep vivid green
The tulips blossoming in every color you’d imagine
The roses were dainty as they’ve always been
The whole scene was covered with soft scent of spring

Frogs were singing their Happy Song
Bees were waltzing about the lawn
Carps were swimming gracefully in the pond
Turtles were tanning their shells on the rock
Everyone was smiling under the warm sun
